On October 27, 2004, was held the Annual General Meeting of Members of ACM Basic Porto Alegre.
The Assembly aims to renew one third of the Board and the Board Sheet fourth ACM Gaucho, for the year 2005.
Historically conducted through ballots for manual filling, the election innovated with electronic voting. The program was created by the Department of Technology and Computing ACM Porto Alegre and approved by the shareholders who attended the basic electoral process acemista.
At the end of the selected six candidates to the Board and two for the Board Sheet, the program allowed the printing of the ballot for the conference by each member voting base.
The innovative program allowed the electoral process transcorresse so quiet and safe, with the guarantee of a secret ballot and with the ease of completing the scrutiny and reports in just over 30 seconds.
