Between 13 and 15 November 2009, occurred in the city of Águas de Lindenow-SP National Convention of YMCAs 2009.

The Convention took place in the hall of the Sapphire Hotel Monte Real Resort and started with the opening ceremony on 13/11 which was presented immediately after the lecture "How to motivate your team: The new role of the leader" with the speaker José Augusto Vieira and Tavares then came the Second General Assembly Ordinária.O end of the day was with the tribute to professor José Antônio Figueiredo Antiório for their outstanding services rendered during his tenure as President of the Brazilian Federation of Young Men's Christian Associations.

On November 14 gave the devotional activities beginning in the morning, followed by the lecture "Motivation for Movement Acemista" presented by speaker Dr. Cesar Romão and soon after was presented to the participants' Indicators Project. "In the afternoon, the guest speaker Dr. Marilia de Castro presented his lecture with the theme "Protagonists of Civil Society on Public Policy" followed by success stories of YMCAs of Brazil presented by Messrs. Zolair Trindade, Flávio Guimarães Rosa and Lysias. The closure happened with the tribute paid to Mr. John Xavier Pereira Neto for his 46 years of service to the ACM.
