The event is designed for colleges, academies, businesses, institutions, etc., and may participate in children and young people of both sexes born between 1995 and 2004 in their respective categories.

On Wednesday, the 11th, the high school students of the College ACM-RS Center will participate in the action "School Urgent", organized in partnership with the Foundation Thiago Gonzaga. The Volleyball was created in Holyoke YMCA in Massachusetts, United States, on February 9, 1895, by William George Morgan. Morgan's goal was to create a team sport with no physical contact between opponents so as to minimize the risk of injury. Initially, he played with a chamber of basketball and was named Mintonette but quickly gained popularity with the name of volleyball.

In the last week between days 09 to May 12 occurred in the city of Lima in Peru III Cumbre, which was attended by several members of YMCAs of Latin America and the Caribbean, plus the participation of representatives of other regions, such as Canada, USA, among other countries, and also the presence of the president of the World Alliance.
