ACM Governor's Island gets the 40th Enali

The 40th National Meeting of Leaders Enali was held at the YMCA of the Island
Governor, State of Rio de Janeiro. The event that occurred between the 15th and 20th of July, was attended acemistas of young volunteers across the country, where the discussions took main theme Utopia Insertion.

 

Participants of the National part of a CL (Corps Leader), which are formed by volunteers 14-20 years. These young people represent their respective YMCAs, where works are carried out with the elderly, disadvantaged children, young non-integrated society, among others. Always emphasizing the central goal, strengthen families and society.

 

In this meeting, were presented and discussed the work done in all ACMs in Brazil. Participants also had the opportunity to attend lectures by professionals jigs acemista movement, such as that of Renatha Athaide, who presented the social projects in progress ACM Rio.

 

Also participating professionals who are not part of the movement acemista such as: Robson Santarém, presenting a lecture on "Future Prospects - What the world will have tomorrow?", Showing young people the obstacles and challenges they face in the labor market, and Adriana Pinnola, who spoke on "Project Planning", teaching participants how to express their ideas in the form of project.

 

The Secretary General of the Brazilian Federation of YMCAs, Mr. Luiz Carlos Gonzaga, also attended this great event. Although new methods were discussed with the aim of forming new leaders. For this to be realized, the youth presented ideas and with the approval of the participants, has formed a new Unified Curriculum, which will assist in the training of future leaders acemistas.

 

Finally, an Assembly discussed the topic of the next Enali and it was decided that "Family - What is its true meaning?" Will be the main agenda of the next meeting, to be held in January 2008 in Sorocaba, SP, located inside São Paulo.
