The YMCA offers its members and interested persons the opportunity to develop activities such as exchanges, other units in the world. It was the case of the young Leticia Regina Vaccaro, who in July, was at the YMCA of Spain to work voluntarily at a camp site, located to the north of the country, in the region of the Pyrenees.
The Brazilian reports receipt obtained from the moment they planted their feet on Spanish soil, more precisely in the capital.
"From the moment I arrived in Madrid, I was very well received by all professionals in the Association and in a few days as I headed for camp, where I would spend the whole month," he said.
In total, more than 300 teenagers and children were participating in the camp, some of which were there to improve their English and others simply to enjoy the beautiful Spanish mountains. Leticia was in the group of adventure, with a monitor and fifty (50) adolescents, which gave him a chance to meet some cities, and of course, beautiful scenery.
The representative of the Brazilian ACM had to circumvent some difficulties there, like the language and the different habits of the Spaniards in the camp, but nothing that scared her, because she had the willing help of local professionals. Leticia summarizes what this time away from the country represented in your life.
"Definitely share experiences, our cultures and our dedication to the YMCA ... 30 days were wonderful and certainly unforgettable, "he concluded.
