The group Maracatu Ilê Alafia, ACM emerged in São Paulo, in 1999, with the intention of rescuing the roots from african-Brazilian musicality.
Formed initially by children and adolescents 0-17 years of the ACM, conquered the residents and patrons of Jabalpur district, São Paulo. Today, Ilê Alafia, which means "House of Happiness", is open to the community at large.

16 year old Gaucho is part of the delegation and compete with other athletes in Sao Paulo.
Bruno Moeller, who is also a student of the School Paralympic Gaucha (parasports) won the gold medal in the 100 m in category T53 (for runners in a wheelchair).
